I think for the Parachute Regiment you need 9:18 but you are allowed extra time if you can dead lift 116kg which might be the 9:40 you mentioned, 9 minutes is considered a good time though. That's just of the top of my head from what I recall reading so I'm sure Sandy or someone else will correct me...

I looked into the RAF Regiment a while ago and although the RAF seem to take decent care of them the role just didn't appeal to me that much. Shame! :P
