I use innersoles and it's never been a problem, a surprising amount of people get them made in training aswell.

However your case sounds a bit more complicated then simple over pronation, but you should always tell them in the medical - if asked.

If you want you can pull up a sandbag and I'll tell you about the USMC recon officer who left his night vision down in a village in the fish hook - and so we had to go and get it by first light. There was also some eod team member that blew his own weapon up by accident. Dits aside they're good at w...

Put my chit in for fpg a few weeks back. Seems like the way forward what with fsrt, mst and sfsg. Been in an msg troop before and it's pretty much wrap stations on soldiering skills, go down castle martin and get the rounds down - so the tanks draft can stand fast, until I milk fpg for all it's got,...

Bit of a bone question now I come to think of it.

Best to keep the tanks chit in and try and stay faithful to the gd branch as long as possible - got an fpg draft coming up - wazbats!

Cheers for the replies.

Specialisation?!

It's alright I'm not going to ask whether sniper is a specialisation or not or whether you can apply to be SC after week 16 of training.

My question is however which s.q's are the good one's - because lads just drip their tits off about their own?

It is one of the best feelings in the world getting on that train with your new boots knowing that the world is your oyster...and then getting shiters.

I used to look on with envy from bottom field.

All shapes and sizes pass out of training, some find the endurance course hardest, some find the 30 miler hardest or the tarzan.

Just eat healthy and train smart and if you have what it takes upstairs then you're laughing.
