When you receive your details through for ADSC it should also include a rail warrant and schedules of trains departing from your station and arriving at lichfield. It will give you all the alternate options also so you can see when they arrive etc. and also when to change trains.

I'd love to time my 100m now. I used to do it at school in 12.4s when i was 15. I feel so much quicker now would just be interesting to see how quick.

I would do with whatever your comfortable with. If you watch the olympics over a similiar distance the runners keep up a good pace with a sprint finish. I would assume they condition their bodies to do this. As we aren't professional athletes maybe best to stick with however you run.

Sprinting uses fast twitch fibres. It's hard to explain but if you have ever seen on an assault course or something like that where theres tyres on the floor setup diagonally? Right foot goes in the left is forward slightly then the right slightly more forward again etc... so your constantly travell...

When i was there some lad got about 205kg i think it was just under the record set at 208kg i believe it was. He also got about 28 pullups. Absolutely nuts, even crazier he wasn't a body builder size just pure strength. I was in shock and for those who are wondering he got 8mins something on the run...

Well i'll start it off 9m 46s 135kg Static lift 13 pullups 108kg back extension I was disappointed with the runtime as i've been training since August last year and did manage to get to 8mins 30s on a flat circuit at one stage. It does say to prove he isn't on steroids, not that he hasn't ever used them in the past. Just pointing it out, attention to detail and all that.

I beat you to it Wholley. I didn't want you getting carried away or addicted to the big red letters. Good to hear about the motorbike issue though. I was planning to pass my test once i got to battalion. I do have a few issues though which while it's associated to this thread i might hijack it tempo...

Ok maybe i'm not quite understanding but if your going to be used as a regular soldier and making the commitment which takes up alot of your time as a civilian, isn't the appeal of being a reservist being lost?

I wouldn't worry too much i work in an environment where there is just constant banter everyone has their own way of dealing it, sorry it wasn't appreciated on this account.
