Please can anyone advise on the pros and cons of accepting a posting to Germany?
I know about the washing line restrictions and all that - but are there any massive pitfalls to be considered?

What are they like? 22 are determined team players. 100% selfish to the demands of their vocation. They are mostly physically fit, with a positive life attitide. Not outwardly hedonistic, but confident. They are not massively extrovert character wise and they do not stand out in a crowd. They come i...

No - you're right - most of it was common sense - like - 'don't walk on the top of the hill in enemy territory or you will be an easy target,' and 'if you are walking a long way with your bergen - dont pack things you won't need...' I should do a survival programme - on how to survive a tiresome job...

I agree - half the stuff was basic traning! The only 'specific' thing i noted was that the so called 'hunter force' were the same ex SAS blokes dressed in black - with masks on. In fact the same people were appearing all the time in different situations - no doubt fat bloke Stone had to call upon al...

Forget that no no nails stuff. If you really want to have fun - it's the expanding foam experience which is second to none other. Whilst inserting new windows out the back garden my bloke successfully managed to target all our neighbours washing and their spaniel puppy with one tap of a screwdriver ...

The agent I liaised with (McNabbs agent) had the attitude that 'if you say it's a fiction - you can argue it's all made up - honest' - ie write it and put in what you like because no one can sue if you 'made it up'. However, it was never my intention to publish operational protocols - it was to writ...

As an SAS 'ex' I decided to write a book over 2 years ago. When I initially told colleagues that i was going to write a book based on the Special Forces - some were quite horrified and 'put me firmly down'. They did not listen when I said it would be a humerous fiction. More of a Bridget Jones rathe...

Locating mobile phone signals
To anyone ex signals - I would like to know how they trace mobile phone signals and text messages these days. I know a bit about triangulation but i have no idea how to find out more / which web sites to look on to learn about this stuff. Don't worry - i'm not a nutter, I just write fiction as a hob...
