But they are usually sent to the AOSB (Army Officer Selection Board) which is three days, where as soldiers are sent to ADSC (Army Development and Selection ...

Women are not allowed to join the Parachute Regiment (Infantry)

However, if they come from units such as RLC, RE and REME etc then they are allowed to do P-Coy to earn their maroon beret.

I hope that helps mate.

Life inside Para Depot at Catterick

Would it be possible for someone to describe what an average day or week is like in the early stages of Infantry Training at Para Depot?

And any advice whilst being there?

Cheers, Woody.

Cheers markjb45 for the input. It's helped me out.

But like you said, you didnt get to do the gym session part of it.

Does anyone else know that in the gym session, there is a press up and sit-up assessment; completing a minimum of 70 for Paras?

Cheers, Woody.

What is EXACTLY done at ADSC?

Right lads, I know one of you is just going to say "try using the search button", but I have searched already and I've found that everyone is saying different things, so I just want to clear it up here. So my question is, what are the exact tests that you have to do at ADSC within the Para...

ADSC and Para Training at Catterick

Hello there all, I have two questions and the first is:

1) How frequent is the ADSC? Is it every week or once a month?

and finally...

2) When are intakes for Infantry Training at Catterick (Para Depot)? Do they start every 3 months or am I completely wrong?

Please get back to me.
Thanks.

Woody.
