I am not sure when and how to break the news and how are my relatives going to take me seriously. Perhaps on the day of the ADSC when I have my hair shortened. Why not get your hair cut now. Its a small start but has a bigger meaning symbolical to others around you that you are serious. Its a small...

I would suggest joining some clubs/gym etc now. Not leaving it until one goes to training. You can work on your fitness while you wait and meet people at the same time. I am sure even my wife has been on a course for exertive training, public speaking. I think its fair to be honest that the Army is ...

Driving Without Insurance Driving without insurance is illegal. You don't actually have to be driving the vehicle for it to be a criminal offence - if you own a vehicle that is not insured, you can be prosecuted even if you have never driven it. You can potentially be fined up to £5000 if you are c...

I think your first point proves that womens drills can be spot on, I'd never suggest women are not capable of being good soldiers but I just don't think they'd make good Infantry soldiers mainly for the reason in your second point. The Russian and VC snipers didn't carry a lot of kit besides their ...

Must admit I read something about Russian woman making excellent snipers in the WW2. And they were a real force in the Nam. Still not sure if many could have fixed baronets and carried the weight of the Para’s/Marines and others in the Falklands. Hats off to all the woman and the service they are do...

Call the police and wait 20 mins for them to turn up, whilst in the meantime she continues to get punched in the head and possibly bottled? Make that 45 minutes and then they will want to have a right old look over your car first. I agree about the Legion by the way. I wanted to join once but I cou...

I did Judo since I was about 9. Represented my battalion in both team and individual competition and then was picked for the Army team. Which goes on to compete against the Navy and Air Force. I did also represent my battalion for boxing but was never as good. I boxed for 18 months before I joined a...

I could find plenty better on YouTube. No disrespect to the boys but just because they are soldiers does not make them good singers or this a great song.
