Enough energy? Remember lots of complex carbs...brown pasta, brown rice, brown bread, sweet potatoes, cereals ect.

Motivation? You have really gotta psyche yourself up before EVERY SESSION. Think of the green beret.

re

Not in the RAF Regiment yet but can answer a few of your questions. 1. Try looking on the RAF website, I know there isnt much info but just try. If not, go down to AFCO, they will most likely know. I should think that you need to take sports kit, take some proper running trainers. However I am prett...

Eat healthier. Eat less. Do more cardio. Weigh yourself once per week, making sure you dont lose more than a pound a week.

Hope that helps,

Transfering from RAF to RM

Hi, if I were to transfer from being a rock ape to RM via the AACC (after a few years as a rock ape) would I still get the non-contributory pension after 18 years (in the RAF you get the non-contributory pension after 18 years of service) instead of when in RM which is 22 years service to get your n...

http://www.sportsinjurybulletin.com/archive/0161-shin-splints-treatment.htm The exercises found in this article would probably help protect against stress fractures. Although its mainly for shin splints (which is also essential to prevent against whilst in RT when wearing soldier boots) I still thin...

re

You can become an officer with just A levels but only 2-3 YO's will have passed selection with just A levels out of a whole YO troop in training. You need at least 2 A levels (preferably with A grades) and 5 GCSE C grade passes.

Hope that helps,

Weights- light weights, fast reps, high amount of reps. Not using the injured area at all. Should be able to do light swimming I think but not sure. Someone on here should be able to give advice. Other than that I am not sure, sure someone will have advice. Maybe try looking on a website for alterna...

Thats what I meant. When your are leaving, decide what you want to do. If you are thinking about what to do in civvy street with 2 years to go before you leave then your obviously not going to enjoy life for the next 2 years because youll be thinking about civvy street when you should be having good...
