i second that. there seems a lack of prolonged two way going on. you give your input then it seems to fall flat, even if you try and add sarcy-asm or humour, ( or use text speak i.e 'lol' to be hip n down with the kids). maybe as per tv we need a plant to 'shake things up a bit' and make it interest...

Get that maroon lid earnt before you worry about passing your jumps course. In my opinion the parachute role of the regiment will not be phased out. you may have to wait longer for course availability etc but ultimately IF you pass p-coy you WILL be off to Brize.

Royal Artillery has taken on the rapier air defence role that used to be performed by the rapier sqns of the RAF Regt. Raf Regt now consist of field sqn's only. RA do not run RAF Regt gunner training. That is done by the Regiment at RAF Honnington. Im not sure how many times a year a recruit course ...

i went on a lads holiday after passing at brize and I carried on training much to the disgust of the lads I went with lol - I still got a megaton of shaggin in with all the holiday crumpet so I wasnt bothered about the jibes :wink: Id say if youve got a short timescale you have to train sensibly but...
