Jah boy, Only my opinion but i'd say finish college first and then join. You may aswell get your education done before joining, the Forces arent going anywhere and you'll be better prepared for it with a bit more life experience. You could join one of the Reserve forces whilst finishing college. Dwa...

The public has a right to know what goes on in training. I disagree. i agree with just_me here A tough one, i think the public by nature of our country, has a right to see what goes on in training/military, however should they have the right to pass judgement on it? I dont think so, as really they ...

Eddie, You may well end up with the same answer that is the one you dont want, but i would say this. Make sure you go down every avenue you can and ask a variety of AFCO staff. I would even suggest you ring a few different AFCO's.In general they know 99%of thier stuff however sometimes they get it w...

I just watched the Documentary online and personally i dont think it shows bullying in any form. Im not saying there was definately none going on, but from this 'evidence' it certainly does not portray it. What it does show is 'possibly' some inapropriate behavior from some of the training staff on ...

Cardsharpe, Nerves are something everyone gets to varying degree's and as you say, once your in the thick of it(whatever it is your doing) you deal with it ok, that is the main thing. When you have time to think about it, in the days/months beforehand you will worry as you have no control over what ...

Yes most ranks, if not all, at Dorset house will have been on leave during that period. As far as im aware i believe your tests and application so far should be relevent and workabl...

If my description of what he was trying to portray is in fact what he WAS trying to convey, then it is correct(not his opinion, the fact that i had correclty described what his opinion was), it is NOT about opinions. Only GGHT can tell me whether my description of his opinion is correct or not, becaus...

I guess this is where the problem of communcating on the forums comes into play. We do not know each other, we do not know how this 'comment' was made and in what vain. GGHT, were you being either Racist or Sexist with that original comment? Or was it purely used, all be it some what naively, as an ...

He didnt have to say 'women in Bhurkas', it just so happens he did, he could just have easily used an other description of dress that would portray an other persons religion. I believe the description was irrelevent to his point. I believe his point was clear, that being that we as a country are all...

What the ??? Am i missing something here? The way i read it, GGHT simply made a comment on the state of our countries mad drive to be politically correct. Is this not the case? Whilst stereotyping Muslims is totally wrong i do not believe this is what he was doing. Was he not making the point that i...
