Sandhurst! - Oh how lovely!

Imagine the scene (posh voices - Windsor accent) Nephew Harry: Uncle, do you think I am doing the right thing by joining Sandhurst? Uncle Andrew: Yes, most definatly. You're more likely to have a long succesful career there than anywhere else in Mums Malitia. Nephew Harry: Really, do you thin...

Due to many requests I will not display the map. I don't nesessarily agree with all of the reasons why but if there are more people disagreeing with me than agreeing then maybe I'm wrong and everyone else is right. It has been known before. (more than once!!) Wouldn't want to upset the three Badgers...

I see and understand what you mean but that is not the case anymore - or else there wouldn't be posters all over CTC with the route clearly marked on it. I wouldn't suggest anyone actually run it as a civvy. Definatly NOT the thing to do. It would not be the same anyway as being part of a syndicate,...

The 30 miler route was changed about two years ago. Somedody (who later went on to do TWO YEARS in Hunter troop) broke his leg on route just at a point where we couldn't get an ambulance. Took the Devon Air Ambulance to get him out!! So they changed it for H&S reasons. A serving officer (known a...

There are many required qualifications for joining the Royal Marines.
A sence of humour is one of the most important.

I think you just might be headed in the right direction - Good Luck!

The PTI runs with the right hand man to set the pace. Right at the end he says to the right hand man "keep going I'm dropping back". The troop then carrys on the remaining 50yds. PTI drops back to the last man in the squad - any hangers back behind the squad fail. The tip is -stay with the...

The reason she didn't go to Brigade is that "they" didn't expect her to have yet another go, so they put someone on the course that passed it first time and he (whoops did I say "he") got the draft. Then up she pops for another go, passes, but no draft vacant (at that time anyway...
