:) Oh no, not at all! In fact it leads onto another question I have. I'm joining the TA next month, and I assume that as we come under military law, if we commit an offence, we could be paying a visit.

Remember: knowledge is power, unless you forget it.

Is it likely that things will change; i.e. they'll keep the DPM craphats until after P Coy?

Military Gaol/ Colchester

Is the military prison still in Colchester? When you do your time, is it basically just being beasted as in early recruit training?

How long do you get for minor misdemenours, like fighting for example?

What's the longest one stays there?

I've ordered that from Amazon. Looks really good. Didn't he appear in a few of the SAS programmes?

I think Cipriano will get filled in by his section this week, and that NI knobber starts being a c**t again. Ten Bellies is great, just doesn't give up. Just needs to get fit, and he'll be a good soldier.

I assume you are talking about Soldier Five by Mike Coburn.

It's readily available now. If you can't buy it in the stores, type in Soldier Five in the search area on www.amazon.co.uk.

You'll find it there.

I read his other one when he called himself Steve Deveraux. It was OK. The others I mentioned I found much better.

I'm joining the TA Paras in Sept. My fitness aint great but that's my main priority at the moment. Nothing more. My fitness is the key, and a bit of bottle too. When i joined the army in 1998 on the Paras course, i was a bit naive in thinking that I didn't need to be fit when i arrived. I was proved...

P Company - Female Successes

Has a female ever passed P Company? I heard once that a woman passed the RM Commando course. Has it happened in the Paras?

Here are a few of my favourites: Green Eyed Boys - Adrian Weale & Christian Jennings. A great insight into being in 3 Para before & during the Falklands war. An excellent and moving account of the Mount Longdon assault. Excursion To Hell - Vince Bramley. Another great account of the Mount Lo...
