I was just thinking that, are you going there expecting to fail? I remember my first 1.5 miler at Catterick. Because of people talking it turned out to be a beasting session afterwards and then another 1.5 best effort at the end. Doesn't sound much now but at the time I was hanging.

Make sure you get ones that use a key to mate. You don't want to be messing around with a combination lock when you have about one minute to get in your locker, have a shower and then get back outside! Combi-locks are much better. You dont need to faff about tring to find your key or hoping you did...

Are you kidding? Basic training will be like a holiday camp compaired to RM training.

Us and the camp across the road have eletronic LCD signs which say things like keep to the speed limit, keep dogs on a lead, the name of the camp and the time. Ours unfortunaly is not setup correctly so the writing is all over the sign and the time is 1 hour and 10 minutes out.
