I only just read this and it's f**king sick. If they ever tried teaching my kids (when I have 'em :P) about this sort of shite I'd pull them out the same day. If anything it promotes being homosexual. I can see it now; 10 year old lads acting like that Sean out of Corrie walking around holding hands...

Forgive me for wondering what I am going to be eating for the next who knows how many years, it's just I don't really intend on stopping eating quite yet and so I would like to know what it is I am going to be living off. I was talking to a Para earlier tonight and he was saying how f**king bored he...

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear Sneaky. What I was trying to say in my last post is that although it would be nice to have good quality food etc. it is not at the top of my list in deciding who I want to join. Believe me, if it was I would have been at the ACFO signing up to the RAF Regiment a month ago...

Combat Role for Women?
Hi. :) I have a friend at college who says that she wanted to join the Army in an Infantry role, which because she is female is obviously unavailable to her. Despite this are there any roles available to her where she could and probably would see combat in one form or another? I thought I remembered...

Thanks again for all of the replies and sorry for the long delay posting, I thought it would be best to do some more research into the forces I am interested in and instead of narrowing my choices down the list has grown! :P To mention one the Light Dragoons seem fairly interesting. Can anybody tell...

Many thanks for the warm welcome and all of the great answers I have received so far, I really do appreciate all of the help offered. :) The more that I think about it the more the Royal Marines appeal to me, however I do have a lot of questions I was wondering if any serving Royal Marines or those ...

I'd say that he must have been dropped on his head a good few times when he was a baby the poor thing :( A good and amusing read though. Our Cpl who is called Mitchell has a dog with him all the time, and when we were on the beach and crawling the dog sneaks up on the lads and pisses on them, when t...

The Royal Marines, Paratroopers and RAF Regiment Questions.
Hi all. I was only made aware of this sites existence last night but from first impressions you all seem like a helpful bunch so I thought maybe some of you could help me out :) I won't give you a detailed insight into my life as I doubt any of you particulary care and so I will make it short and sw...
