Yes, you keep making excuses, while the majority get on with their law abiding lives. If the prison population were ever to be believed then one would be shocked that 99% of them were innocent! Him wanting to run away rather than face the music & you speaking for him is far more enlightening about bo...

Liam, friendly advice, get yourself a racing bicycle and go out for some long fastish rides in the evening & at weekends. Easier on the joints than running for us heavy blokes and much more enjoyable.....and I've found, much more effective as well. But also cycle and walk as much as possible. I have...

But in my day your average infantry wallah still got an extra few bob in his pocket for every new specialist weapon course he completed. We didin't, we were expected in our role to know and use them for the same w...

Also to agree with the previous posters, the Legion looks upon criminals as lower than the brown stuff on the soles of their collective marching boots. William are you working as a musician in civvy street or are you a schooled musician looking for work, if I can put it that bluntly? Because how you put that across to the interviewer can be quite important i.e. "I've worked as a musician for xx years and I now want to further develop myself" rather...

currently thinking of early retirement as the BS she has to deal with is making it almost impossible to actually teach. The BS was why I left the police in 96 and migrated to Sweden, before it got really bad. Speaking to London coppers that I know that are still there, they say to me "James you wou...

Good advice from Tab there MH. Only YOU know why you made those 3 choices so only you can justify them, and be prepared to do so, from your own perspective.

I do find it a bit disconcerting however that you have such a low vew of your second & third choices.

In early 82, just before the Falklands my Squadron - II Field Sqn Airborne RAF Regiment were one of the first handful of units to put the SA80 (the type of the day anyway) through its paces. I never got to use it then or later. And the SLR served well during the Falkland...
