Open University

Have any of you fellas in the regs done an Open Uni course, or currently are studying one? I'm just curious how you found fitting in the course around the training plan and especially during the current op tempo.

I think they try and get you your licence as soon as possible in the majority of the Army.

I got mine straight away but I started off in a transport mob.

Now that its getting very hot, should I start running very early, sunrise sort of time, or is there another way to keep cool? Should i be used to running in the boiling hot, or is that just asking for trouble? Cheers Mark Drink plenty of fluids and run in the midday heat. Works wonders for the stam...

UGL and Bayonets

Is it possible to fix a bayonet to a rifle with the UGL? The current Rifle Section makeup is looking very bayonetless, as there's only two standard rifles!

I suppose you could attached a couple of knifes to the LSWs bipod legs with some black n' nasty, and swing it around at your foe...
