Remember also mate that you wont be able to just choose where you wish to go, if your needed elsewhere in the Corps then thats where you,ll go. I,m sure Druadan or someone will be able to shed better advised light on this but its also farely rare that you would go to FPGRM straight from Basic. The n...

Druadan,

apologies if it wasnt you, but did you mention something a while back about a Bergen better suited to the vertically chalenged amongst us that you could get issued at CTC? One that is the same size, takes all the kit the same, but is differently shaped or something?

Last i saw the sign was still there, just towards the end of heartbreak lane. It was that said RM PTI with the words '200 yards to go, its only pain' or very close to that anyway. I found him funny the first few times, but when speed marches kicked in he appeared a little more blurry and a little le...

Agreed, but as a side thought, would you (or anyone else) think that if they did start getting a decent amount more we would start to see people joining for the wrong reasons? Like they dont really want to be there other than for the cash so they do a shite job? Any thoughts? If you joined for the ...

At least this way you wont look back and say, maybe i should have at least waited till phase two! you gave it time and still felt the same. Personally i think you did the right thing if it really wasnt feeling right, i,m sure some will d...

Just in case it comes up. You will see some officer's wearing the Kings Badge, the reason being that they joined as a recruit and won the kings Badge during training and later in thier career got a Corps Commision. Just like with all ranks they continue to wear the kings Badge for their entire career.
