Well personally i think its a little strange. 45 seconds is a fair amount to cut off for a 1.5 mile run too. I know for a fact a lad that used to post on here got over 10 minutes on his PJFT passed RT and is now serving with Royal in Afghanistan. I just think it was ok as it was, as it allowed for t...

JCAP, Hope the injury sorts itself out ASAP mate. I was just wondering what uni and course you had decided on going to/taking? Are you thinking of joining the RMR whilst at uni? It would be very worthwhile if you are thinking of trying for a commision the next time around. Best of luck with all mate...

Kaneda, In the nicest way possible, please grow up and take a look at 'all' the posts you are making. You have made post after post on threads whilst not adding anything usefull to them. You appear to be baiting people including moderators for a kick of somekind. If somehow this is not what you are ...

OBP, Nice work mate, congrats on passing and good effort on the diary. The PRMC has changed alot over the years, even recent years as its a lot different to when i did it in 2003. Timings have changed as have the days on which the tests are done, and the layout is different, so its good to have an u...

Shishak, I agree with the idea of going into your AFCO and just having a good look at the jobs you think you may be interested in. They will have all the information you need to move your process forward and most importantly to allow you to fully decide on which way you want to go, be it RM or RAF. ...

Flo, I hope to see you come back when you've maybe had a break from it for a while, but you've got to do what you feel is right. To those of you who have promted this, i'd really have a look at yourselves and think what it is your trying to achieve by giving out abuse and posting rubbish on this kin...

Good to see you posted this over here Harry, i saw it over on military forums and kind of thought it would be good over here as there are far more who are in the process of joining up on this site, and this is well directed at them as a thought before joining, not to discorage anyone but just to inf...

Well i should not have opened that thread. To sum up: Pushupfred - you seem like an arrogant disrespectful prong. Bates01 - you keep those pull ups going. Sully - yours was the only funny post, and best way to respond in my opinion, and im interested. As i have never earned the Green Lid i feel i am...

Ramsey, Everything aside, good luck to you for your future plans and fair play to you for having such a clear goal at your age escpecially one such as your yours. It took me untill the age of 24 to decide exacty what i wanted to aim for. Now i am no expert in this field so don't take what i say here...

one of my favourites:

'if your not prepared to die for it, then its not worth fighting for'

Flo,

that poem your son wrote is amazing, i imagine you get a tad emotional whenever you read it. Was it ever published in anything, Globe and Laurel or anything?

Scores, times, 3 miler's, 6 milers' press ups, whatever. The FACT is you could turn up at CTC for RT with the just the bare minimum scores and fitness to have passed PRMC but still leave your with your Green Lid or alternatively you could turn up with some of the highest scores and fitness and wrap....

Sorry if this sounds abrupt or harsh stinky, BUT if you want to get into the Royal Marines (RT), you will do. The fitness required to pass PRMC is easily obtainable if you put your mind to it and dig out on your phys sessions. As for what to do in between? what does it matter? its 6 months....do any...

Old boy?? Touchy subject, im 25 now and feel old. The only thing i would say about doing it in your final year is that you may find it hard to commit the time you need to. I had to leave the RMR to concentrate on my final year at Uni, not so much for the time you actually spend with them, but also b...
