Tshirts are done by the lads and the team - usually after you have been in for a few weeks. They are not official but if they are green and done in good taste they are sometimes allowed as a PT rig etc

Ok, this week there was about 30 on the PRMC. Ref the warm up - you must understand that the warm up is for your benifit - its to help prevent injurys. You wouldn't want to do it cold would you? The warm up consisted of moderate running the length of the football pitch, pressups and sprints. Lasted ...

PRMC Three mile run (or maybe a lot less)

There's or yours? I'd say both. Forget the "99% need not apply" advert, lets change it to "If you can't ...

Just to correct what must surely have been a typo FPG is not a specialist group. After passing out, and dispite all that is said by the doomy and gloomy a Marine will normally be drafted to a unit as a rifleman. These days units are classed as, 40, 42, 45, Logs AND Fleet Protection Group. It may not...

Whist taking nothing from the content of the program, the best bit of The Mountain Leaders program was the drumming on the programs introduction. Best bit of drumming I've ever heard.

The "Commando" program to which you refer covered the All Arms Commando Course and little else. Whilst not to bad in content it did not cover recruit training at all. There was another program about 3 years ago that when aired concentrated on why recruits dont complete training and it was really bad...

Doc, I can't be accused of spoiling it for you because I must admit that I have not read it. I do however, belong to an organisation that the book takes a pop at. My daughter, (21) who read it started asking me all these questions about the book and its accusations. From there she told me that if sh...

Just a thought.... As we swear allegence to the Queen and the country on a bible or the religious book of your faith ( or used to in my day ), shouldn't every Royal Marine profess a belief in a Supreme Being? Oh and by the way Doc, The Da Vinci Code is a pile of crap with more lies than I've had had...
