I have a copy of my final draft order and it says Discharge Shore.

And the worse I got was a good bollocking!

Your final draft is termed that way for what ever reason.

I have been running the saftey vehicle on the Endurance course for the last 14 years. I do it about once a week. In that time NOBODY has ever got stuck in the tunnels and NOBODY has ever been judged to big to go into them. The spades are carried for a good reason - just in case of a collapse. In thi...

Modern life being what it is, computers are used a great deal. During training you will get ECDL training, to give you a basic grounding. JPA, the must celebrated (ha!) new pay system requires users to have a basic knowledge of Windows and PC skills. Once out of training you'll do Powerpoint present...

There is no wireless access at CTC. This is because there are severe security implications. Imagine, your in a military base, you've got a lap top and a scanner and your in an office with documents lying around. Hmmmmm..... Thats why there will never be wireless at CTC. Anyway, all you've got to do ...

MLs are classed as SF? You mean Sadistic Fcukers Stix surely? They're not badged, therefore surely not SF. Although I can understand the identity protection if they're involved in Recce/BPT. Right, I'm on slightly dodgy ground here because you really need to talk to someone that is actually ...

Stix@CTC, What does RV3 - usually mean? Cheers Woodbury Common, where about 75% of recruit training takes place has car parks all over it. This is where the transport drops off the recruit troops. RV stands for RendezVous - which is Frog speak for meeting place. RV3 marks the start of the Endurance...

I noticed they said, the troops were carrying up to 100 pounds of equipment. Is this correct, or was Chris just talking out of his ass ?. I march with my brother in the Canadian Military and we only carry 50 - 60 pounds MAX. Even then I can only march about 13 km's without feeling burnt out, and Im...

The trained ranks involved in the Chickn & Rabbits WERE MLs. MLs have quite a bit to do with recruit training. Anyone who has done Foggin Tor and Gidleigh Wood will know. ML's are classed as SF, hence the blurred faces. All ML courses are now run from CTC so they are around. I couldn't remember so I...

To be Para trained all you have to do is put in for the course (which is run out of Brize Norton). Once qualified you need to do a minimum number of jumps each year to recieve Para pay. If you don't do the jumps you don't get the pay. Forms of PT are not restricted. Once out of training, get down th...

There are no patrols of any kind in Exmouth. There is however a total Nod ban in the town. This is to give the trained ranks a chance of trapping! :D
