It may not compromise your position but if it is a white light, no matter how dim it will affect your night vision. I dont really see your point. With the new leave policy now in place you get even more long weekends. If your not working Sat or Sun you get leave from Fri night through to Sun night. Far from taking them away they are giving us more. My friends troop seem to have a long weekend every couple of week...
