What a load of crap! Purely for entertainment. The Asp ia about 5 times longer than that knife. I've used the Asp. In this film the knifeman's arm would have been broken on first blow or he would at least have dropped the knife. This film has the batonman ONLY parrying the knife not attacking the ar...

Good on him Steve.
My dad taught me how to box, how to distract an attacker, how to fight in a pub, or in the street, how to take on superior numbers with hit & run tactics. All of which stood me in good stead for 13 years as a copper :D

Excuse me, but why are you questionning the up to date knowledge of the recruiter? He is the one person who knows what is correct on this subject. Why do you think that serving paras would know more than a recruiter regarding up to the minute info?

It is very similar. And one good piece of advice I give to anyone starting out with the study of a new language is this -study your own language first, learn all the grammatical terms in English and understand how English is constructed. That helps enormously, because all those terms are used by ALL...

Don't suppose swedish is easy to learn is it? Actually, and while not wishing to bore anyone with the rudimentaries of comparative linguistics, Swedish is one, if not the, easiest European language for an English speaker to learn. Why? Well, because unlike Spanish, French, Italian and Russia...

I studied Swedish part-time at university for 5 years in preparation and so was fluent when I moved here in 96. However, I'd been speaking Swedish since 82 anyway.

what a liberty. As time goes on I am becoming more and more demoralised with how this country is being run. Then to have a so called leader act in this manner is just pushing me further and further towards the emmigration option. :x Did it in 96 mate, as soon as I could, after a few years thinking ...

Hi Mac, yes a wise choise to go for the Snowdrops especially if you want to join a Home Office force when you leave the RAF. That said I did my time in the RAf Regiment and still joined the Met when I left. However, bear in mind that the soldiering you would get from the Regt would stand you in good...

Yes, take care in sunny Ca. Wholley.

As regards the heat. I'm off to South Africa next Monday on a job, for a week. An international security meeting with govt, MoD, emergency services reps. from many countries.

Looking forward to it, not so much looking forward to the 13 hr flight though.
