Paras 10

so it was down to colchester today for paras10, and fawk me was it hot. went to the weigh in and found out i'd been walking round with 55lbs instead of 35 hahaha. managed to drop 10 before the start, quite happy with my 2.41hr with this heat and extra weight. reckon i could of shaved atleast 30 mins...

get a decent bergen with good lumbar support and slowly increase you weight,and dont try to much to soon coz you'll f@#k your back up. also dont try anything to heavy in trainers as it'll batter your feet something silly

other than that barbell/dumbell rows, lat/delt raises and plenty of dips

creatine is most probably banned because it hides pain and muscle fatigue, leading to avoidable injurys. ive seen people down the gym do them self a right mischief on the stuff because they have pushed it to hard. supplements are no match for a decent diet, rest and ol fashioned grit

cheers mate,same for u. and forgot to add join your local running club, they'll help you with training and form, and if nothing else then watching the little old dears zoom past will give you all the motivation you need :lol:

i'm in the same position as you accept i'm getting fit for the paras but try having a little look on youtube, search running speed drills. theres plenty of videos with some very good running tips which ive found quite helpful. also try some hill training as it helps build your legs up overall and ca...
