RM Officer Eligibility

Hey lads, I'm in a bit of a situation. I was born outside UK (within EU) and came to England when I was 16. I started college straightaway and did my A-levels. As I knew that Unis want at least GCSEs English and Maths, I did those simultaneously with my a-levels. I'm currently in my 2nd year at uni,...

I haven't started my application yet, but I want to be as much informed as possible. :) I guess, this way I would be prepared for everything and I would be able to enjoy it. Souman, are you my idle sloth of a son in disguise? H...

What about sleeping?!

How many hours are you allowed to sleep>? I've heard that 6 hours is the normal amount, but in some places it is even less. I mean, is that even healthy? + every day the psycical work is exhausting and therefore the body needs to rest, isn't it? For me between 8 and 10 hours is enough. I do understa...

Re: School situation

ANYONE with any sense would tell you to stay in school and get some qualifications - even if you get into the Army (and there's no guarantee of that these days) you won't be in forever, and you'll need something to fall back on when you get out. Take some advice from somebody who's serving. Relax m...

Re: School situation

I think that whether you leave school or not is totally up to you(or up to your parents, xax) If you are asking whether the army would mind if you leave school? - well, I don't think so :D

My question is not based upon eligibility requirements i.e. I know that i can join the army even if i'm 30. The thing is that at the time of...
