when i was in training i couldnt feel my feet through out the 32 week course and for weeks afterwards. non of this dry sentry routine, it was always wet wet wet unless in your bag.

Illustrious, For those of us a little outside the loop, can you clarify what exactly wet and dry routine is nowadays?! Sealing boots in bags? We went in fully kitted, then donned dry rig for sleeping, although black trainers or Pusser's Silver Shadows were acceptable in Phase 1 for in-bag wear. Pro...

gents, help needed about lovats

hey all, im going to a university graduation ball on wednesday and its all tuxedos and gowns. now obviousley being an essence royal marine im going to wearing my lovats with medals. just one question, do i wear my lovat belt or white belt with brasses?? and do i wear gloves? im not a DL so dont know...

i found pussers webbing best for gpmg in afghan.

instead of pussers mag pouches replace them with utility pouches. trust me works a treat.

bearing in mind these things are designed for long range patrols in the deserts of afghan etc. not patrolling around basra so i think there worried about mines/small arms contacts etc than i.e.d's
