Re: TA Application Update

Exactly mate. I DID get a handy 'Mini Fitness guide' given to me as I was leaving. Though the spelling was terrible (E.g- Millitary and areobic) which should help me, as well as my 'Official British Army Training' book I bought. :)

I'd imagine it would be quite a while before deployment as you dont train as often as in the Regs.......but I dont know. This is my wild guess only

Re: Finally had contact with my Local TA unit

Robbed your H4H band?? Wtf? Of all the things, I must say THAT is odd :shocked!:

I would ring them, just double check that everything is still 'on'. Are you having a 'day in the life' day too? Where is it you'll be joining?

Re: Finally had contact with my Local TA unit

Thats what I thought, as with anyone else who had answered my post on another site. I'm not 100% sure what the day will actually be like, and going off the phonecall I had with them, at this moment, I dont think they will either. Could be fun I suppose experiencing all the shouty, marchy excersisey ...

Re: STILL waiting for my start date!!

From what I've read everywhere, the same thing is happenning to alot of people. So basically, My advice is 'Be Patient' Keep working on your fitness between now and then. I'm sure I'll be in the same 'boat' when I finally get signed up. (not long now.......27th Feb :))

Not having had any contact since then I decided to ring them to see if we had any more details regarding times and location. What I found out is as follows; We ar...
