People will definitely take the piss, but that's part of the army, everyone has the piss taken out of them, you just have to give as good as you get. It shouldn't hamper your career unless you let it.

No real difference. They have slightly different company set ups (D Company 2 Para is a rifle Company, whereas D Coy 3 Para is Patrols ), but that's it. I'd say 3 Para were more 'ally' but all that stuff depends on what's allowed by head shed. They do they same job.

A general sh*t attitude amongst a lot of the recruits in there. There's a lot of bluffers and no hopers waiting to get out. Some guys get sucked into the chilled regime and lose the love for where they originally wanted to be and basically give up.
