Well, I have to say that Smudge's story is a very interesting one. Sadly, it rings no bells with me - perhaps more's the pity.
The route taken by the Galahad bomb by fork lift truck et al along the tank deck and so off the stern ramp is rather at odds with my memory of hoisting it from the battery ...
