Phoned my AFCO on Monday and they said my medical papers have been with the medical staff at Glencourse since 16th April (2 weeks ago), and that they would phone me as soon as they get an answer. Anybody have any idea how long it usually takes to get a decision from your written medical? Hi, the me...

lol yes mate, thats sought of the whole point of it since it is a PFT :wink:
I presumed with having met the standards at ADSC then the time wouldn't be as crucial this time around, will give it my all both times either way.

Yeah I must have been, when i phoned up and said i needed my forms filling in they actually suggested the 30 minute appointment.

Finally got my medical forms back off the doctors, think they got sick of me pestering in the end! I know it sounds stupid but I really think you have to do that. Yeah I kinda had an inlcing that the US marines were no where near a match for our marines, so I just wondered where they fitted in as our UK forces structure is pretty straight forward and efficient.

US Forces

Just wondering, are these the US equivalents to our forces: Army Infantry=US Marines, Royal Marines=Navy SEAL, SAS=Delta Force. anybody?
