I want to know when you get to choose which battalion within the regiment you join. I go to ITC Catterick on 12 July but no one has asked about which battalion I want to join. I am guessing it would depend on the staffing needs of the regiment but I was wondering if you have any say in it and if you...

I just got a starting date to start basic, July 12. Is anyone else going there. Is any one is starting training in my platoon on the same day? It would be nice not to be a total stranger when I start

Procedure fteer deferral

Hi I went for selection about three weeks ago but i got deferred because i failed a hearing test. The doctor did allow m me to go through the rest of the selection and i passed everything else (Jerry can, PSSR, 1.5 miles, team task) I am going back to the selection center on 26/03/09. my question is...

It takes about three to six months. If you haven't resided in Britain for five five years your opportunities to enlist would be limited o combat arms (Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery) and some trades in Royal Logistics Corps. The fastest way to join is Infantry. PM me if you have specific questions RL...
