Currently it's the L115A3 in 8.59mm (the Accuracy International AWM .338LM if you want to be all civvy about it). Replacing the L96 7.62mm as the standard sniper weapon.

Quarters are only an entitlement for soldiers who are married and/or have children, serving as an attached post. In other words the family members have to be coming with you to the posting.
