Its actually 14:30....but if they see an applicant who wants to go para they expect a 9minutes.

Just_me i just wanted to ask what grades you got at selection because i originally wanted to go para but changed then changed again
anyway when i was in my interview i was told i would be eligible for para in september intake as all my grades were A's...anyway just though i'd let you know.

Well ive been thinking all day and im going to go into rifles 100% im ringing the careers office tomorrow and i will ask to do the chosen man....what does it involve and will it be ok to do it after i have done selection? Thanks

Hi all i spoke to the careers office today got the same awsnsers really lol i am going to be changing my chocies to paras and rifles but when i spoke to my careers advisor i asked about where i would be based in the rifles...i wanted somewhere close to home and the closest to me is the commando unit...

I dont get this i dont do alot of training as i should and didnt do very well in my fitness day but i still managed a 9 mins 52 secs for 1.5m the other day....and i smoke

Basiclly i want to join the rifles or paras but i was recently steering for paras but then i saw Royal Green Jackets i cannot find out alot of imformation about them all i saw was that they are a shock tatic fighting force that go's into combat first before anyone else, and that they are sharpshoote...

I done it at 6th batallion rifles with about 60 other people who are in progress of their application, it is to determine your levels of fitness before you go to selection.

It only lasted a couple of hours but was a good bit of fun and was nice to meet people in their application too.
