I did morning runs for a few weeks and just did short distances (2 miles) as fast as possible. It was a lot more relaxing and enjoyable although it started to come up to exams and I didn't want to be too tired during lessons and went back to afternoon runs. One of my friends told me though that morn...

Just start doing a small number of pressups with the normal form. I used to di wide arm pressups and could do a few but when I found out I had to them "properly" I struggled at first. Now they're very easy. If you do something like 3 x 30 pressups and built up from that, then you may as we...

There's alot more to a terrorist attack then just looking at a map.
I would go into detail but I won't in case anything did happen and if anyone else is monitoring these forums.

Looks smaller than I thought....
Or is the perimeter quite big? Although I suppose most training is off site.

I heard that after returning from Afghanistan, a whole town was practically destroyed. Apparently at one place there were about 80 people in a huge fight.

The person who told me said it was either Paras or RM.

A small layer of fat is always useful and healthy.

You'll be surprised at some people, American footballers may look fat but apparently about 80% of it is muscle.

They even have things for the USMC in the cinemas before the trailers.
There's also an entire channel devoted to the military which I enjoy. Saw some good shows on Royal Marine recruit training.

How many runs a week are you doing?
You may want to do runs on one day, weights the next and leave Sunday a restday or something.

Or if you're being sick, just keep going and see what happens.

Strange letter about eyesight...

Okay, I did a search about the CAAMB and haven't quite found what I'm looking for. I recently got a letter that goes like this, it asked that I needed to include my visual acuity but also: "Please take the enclosed form to your opticians for completion and return all paperwork back to myself at...

At least give RT a go and see how you feel for the first two weeks. You may end up loving or hating it so then you can decide if you're still having trouble now. If you hate RT you can quit thinking "Okay I gave it a go, it wasn't for me." Or it maybe "Hey, I like this and I think I'l...

My vision is a bit dodgy, I have an astigmatism but thankfully to my relief it's still good enough to be allowed. The optician's report has three criteria to which you're assigned depending on your eye sight. I can't remember the exact details but roughly: 1 - good, 2 - not too bad, and 3 - not good...

I figured out what it was. Wasn't leaving enough of a gap between each set. I had a minutes gap which made all the difference.(heard somewhere a while ago that was what you were supposed to do but just ignored it thinking I would be able to push myself through).

Cheers for the help.

Woah!!! This is beyond weird, I'm watching the Louis Theroux episode when he spends time with the family at the moment and then I see this topic. Strange.... Anyway the link for the video: http://tv-links.co.uk/video/9/1376/2032/48494/70730 It's sad how they all treat their fellow countrymen who've ...

Thanks for the help.

Sorry for that bizarre use of language there, I was in a bit of a rush.
