SAS - Swimming?

Do you have to be able to swim to pass selection for the SAS? If so how good wouldyou have to be at swimming? Because I can only swim a length of about a 100m pool and im not very confident in water and cannot swim underwater, Is that a big hinder?

Job Choices after BARB Test (Special Observer)

I was not given the job brief for RA 'Special Observer' and thats what I would like to go in? It's not due to my BARB test because all jobs are eligible to me. So does that mean that I cannot chose that job as my job choice. Or did my AFCO just forget.

If i was in the army in an infantry regiment for say 23 years. Could i then change to Royal Marines? I dont just mean do the all arms commando course. I actually mean in the royal marines. When they do your height and weight, does your BMI score have to be in the healthy zone between 18 - 25 or can you be a bit under or over? I got 26.8 will I have to lose some weight?
