If all goes well, might look into making it an event, if I can do it in winter on my own, and with the current weather we are getting down here, I'm sure if it was an event at a better time of year there would be interest. Would anyone here be interested if it did become an event?

Ask your recruiter. You'll probably be fine as you get given all the jabs you need in week 1, as far as I am aware, it wont hurt to be vaccinated twice for the same thing, especially if it was that long ago. (but i'm no doctor)

If you have shin splints STOP running until they are fully healed, you'll only make it worse. Best bet is to go to a specialist running shop, they should be able to offer you a pair that are suited to the way your feet move when you run. Only problem is they'll want to sell you lovely £100+ pairs, i...

They'll set you back around £140, they do another boot called Seekers, quite popular with the old bill as they have a more flexible sole, but the grip is not as good for muddy con...

it will be enough for your 1.5m and pull ups. You are not tested on press ups or sit ups at adsc. You will still have to pass a few other strength and grip tests, a medical examination, you will be examined on teamwork, command potential, and attitude. So in a word, No :) but if you have your head o...
