It's sad really

I'm not claiming to be in any service, yet. But all I am trying to do is help others in my position. Picking at a posting i made with little remarks concerning 'Army Regiments' where i should have noted the RM and SBS seperately is quite sad I'm afraid. I made an error and i apologise. But it doesn ...

Feathers

Indeed it is. Your contribution I'm sure would be welcome as you seem one of the more genuine people here.

Mutley: If you could draw your obviously ignorant mind to my post to which you replied. I know it's hard for people with ADD, but if you note, i was only passing on what i read; and i was in ...

Loz

You tell us you live in Hereford, and are constantly insinuating you are ex-special forces; and please don't deny it.

Surely a man of your calibre (ex-SAS) would not then be using words such as Helos...I thought the common Army term was Helis? And yomping? The British Army don't use that word ...

How old is he?

'Lorrainne' What are you in? I see you're in Hereford, would that be 25th Engineers or.....NAH!

Not sure about the latin though... :-?

It's sad...

It really is sad that people believed him. I wasn't there, I don't know; but Michael Asher: What a prick. He thought he could get famous and earn a few bob. He forgot to mention he was in 21 SAS not 22. And he went round believing the Iraqis said. Do you hoinestly believe the only opposition they ...

Finally...

The special forces in this country consist of: SAS, SBS (part of RM) and Mountain Leader part of RM. This last one, some of you may find hard to believe. BUT in researching whether to join paras or RM i read many-a-leaflet and all kinds of literature persauding me to join RM and Paras. In every ...

Straight talking about the army

There's a lot of sh*t flying around this forum about the regiments in the army. In particular: Paras, RM and SAS/SBS.
There are some true comments from some obviously seasoned soldiers. Though some comments, namely from an inexperienced scottish scaley, who thinks he knows the biz are in no way ...
