just a tip i went to halton last year dont bother with the trouser bungees your not alud to use them any more. well until you start trade training. and yea make sure u dont buy snap lock padlocks as if you lock your keys in them you have to cut them open often its a pain in the ass and dont really ...

hey there... when i went to the afco i have the aptitude tests etc... they prob will get a fitness test going with you, (i didnt have to do it) but its quite easy most people pass! you will have to call n to see if the job is open if it is then you go for another interview...

its quite tough at halton.. but i found that all you gotta have is Effort and determination. thats what they look for.
they award it too!

your offer of service is not ,uch to worry about, its more of a re cap of everything they have asked to to make sure you havnt changed your mind, u should also get a little certificate too.

i had my final interview with the flight sargent yesterday and signed a provisional contract so i am officially starting RTS in august!! just wanted to ask if many people paid much for all the kit as it looks quite alot!

you get penalised for 6 months before you can re-sit your next aptitude test if you fail it.... dont know if you can book it again if you fail that far in advance.
ya wont fail if you read the material they give you to help though.

does anyone agree that rest and recovering is a main part of programmes? need to allow plenty of time for this to reduce risk of injury.

yes, fitness levels remain constant for a while so after a month you may struggle abit, however, after a few times you will feel like you've never even stopped.

when you do go back to training, dont start on what you were doing last time, build it up gradual and give yourself plenty of time to ...

i used to have the same prob, get your technique looked at by a pro, it could just be the way you are kicking your legs.

have a good warm up before swimming just like you would do on a normal exercise programme and see how you get on.
