so how did your interview go ? =] I live in Warrington and my AFCO is in Liverpool, the guy had a scouse accent and was pretty intimidating, haha. To be honest I was pretty nervous. I made a bit of a tit out of myself by forgetting the security clearance form and the consent to release medical one ...

Did your AFCO not give you a book on the PGAC? :-?

I have it here and it says there are two fitness assessments;

One being a shuttle run lasting 10 minutes, followed by 10 press ups, 25 sit ups and a 50m swim and of course the 3 mile run in less than 24 minutes the following day.

Good luck though

Also I forgot to mention;

A 3 mile march shouldn't be a problem - but with 20kg (?) weight, I think it's going to be pretty tough :(

Any advice on that at all?

Aha, yeah I looked into what Brett said and realised that I wouldn't really benefit from it whatsoever.

Thanks very much for the advice guys, much appreciated :D

Help with training

I've done all the necessary research about the RAF Reg Gunner, been down to my local AFCO and I know it is the right career for me. I'm pretty fit already as I have an active lifestyle. I'm starting to train harder than ever as I've seen how tough the PGAC and the TG course can be. I'm just looking ...
