Ps. You do not need to start every word with a capital letter!
Constantly correcting people, you also do not need to do that.
That was helpful advice, thanks Harry.

After the insight course you will have a better idea if the parachute regiment is for you or not. Best of luck.

The next insight course for the Para's is the 07-09 Nov. See this link for details and to book yourself on a course. It is completely up to you and what you want out of a Regiment, put the research in and talk with your AFCO so you can make an educated choice. There are many serving paras on this fo...

Adam you will get a letter with a kit list on it before you go, if not ring your AFCO! You have just under two weeks to contact your AFCO so stop worrying. If (but hopefully once)you get to phase one you will wonder why you got so fussed over ADSC.... It really is nothing to worry about. I can not r...

I had been with my girlfriend for two years pior to joining, and yes the training does put strain on. Though having someone at home to talk to and support you really does play a big part in the mental game. Always remember that once you go to bed in the evening thats another day done and another ste...

Big lad at 6ft and 15 stone your no gazelle, running everyday and you are really raising your chances of getting shin splints. Same for anyone who runs everyday (distance and intesnity depending ofcourse). Run everyday pior to ADSC or phase one and all you are going to do, is be exercising when your...

Week one is basically form filling, kit issue, hair cuts, medicals, fitness test (1.5 mile run), plently by Powerpoint presentations during a various intro lessons and then Icebreaker Exercise at the end of the week which is more like a camping trip than a field ex. Plenty of early mornings and grum...

Take it but keep it in your bag turned off until the evening when you are in the naffi or save it for bed, but surely you can go a day away from the thing. But yes you can take it.

Not doing the mod's job for them, but there is a sticky at the top of this section solely for ADSC topics.

Not that I think you are, but be careful not to overtrain. The last thing you need to pick up an injury just before ADSC.

Bit unclear, Are you asking with reference to training or once you have finished phase one & two/CIC? With reguards to phase one all you need is what is on the kit list. As a recruit, they need you learn how to get by using issue kit only. You will be issued everything you need for your training...

Honestly Adam this seems fine, just keep it up and try and run the 1.5 mile more so you can get use to the pace needed. Also get some fartlek done. It will pay off. ADSC is not nearly as bad or difficult as you think. Just try your best and everything, do what your told and arrive with the correct m...
