A good MMA fighter is fit, aggressive and has a good all round system in one on one, no weapons fighting, especially if there is plenty of room. Your review really reminded me of the day. Nice one! I can see your point re signposting, toilets and lack of checks etc. I also noted people doing the PCoy challenge in trainers, and who knows how many may have cheated on their pack weights, as no one seemed to officially check at the start or the ...

Look at the Gallery on the Paras10 site http://www.paras10.com/gallery.php Brian, I think the "Time" is the time from the start of the race (when the starter went off), until you crossed the finish line, and the "Chip time" is from when you crossed the start line (this was electr...

Can anyone make sense of the results? They have 2 times for each comteitor... one being a "chip time." You'd think that was the most accurate, but some people are shown lower in the results than others with a slower chip time? My brain hurts. Apparently I'm shown as either 2 hours 4 ...

..............and my intro to milling lesson are legendary they have too be seen to be believed. Can you expand on this? As an aside, too many martial arts concentrate a little too much on the art.... and not enough on the martial! I do know martial artists who turn their noses up at Milling. But I...

I've also read the books.... And no, of course I wasn't there. But when you have one version of an incident were 8 men take on 200 and win!... but another where 8 men ran off from 2 farmers and a kid..... the truth has got to be somewhere in between. As for anyone being allowed back to Heeford? can ...

The advice is sincerely appreciated, believe me. Thanks for your time, and please offer anything else you may have. My only "experience" of an even like this is the fact my Great Uncle (now sadly deceased) was one of the original Commandos who helped form the regiment. :D I'm doing the rac...

Thanks for that. One thing does confuse me a little though. Running without a bergen does seem fairly different to running with one. It's a whole different technique. Now I do know that putting in too much weight too early is going to cause injury.... and I know that running hard without one will in...

Paras 10

Hi all, I'm a new member here, and am entered in next years Paras 10. Yes, I know there is a lengthy thread on the subject, but lot's of it seems to involve "issues" I have no involvement or interest in. No offence intended. I'm 44 and, although fitter than average, nowhere near capable of...
