Was that first line for me? If so, it is not the opinions that appall me. It is need for personal attacks that I find distasteful, uncalled for and downright offensive. Thats that. Its not going to change anything, so im going to leave and let all you rip into each other (and me if you wish) in peac...

Some of you are pathetic. My actions are not an easy way out, but some of you think that you can talk to anyone how ever you want to because you have served. The idea of having an argument is to argue - not to criticise or directly offend. Some of the popele on here are a f@#k disgrace. So Harry, it...

Iran is not the 'centre of Islam,' nor are the goals of the Iranians to wipe Israel of the map. That may be rhetoric, but thier failure to recognise Israel (like the majority of other Arab nations) does not mean they actively seek to destroy them. Iran may support groups such as Hamas and Hizbollah,...

I think Afghan and Iraqs been exhauted here and elsewhere. :D I dont agree that Iran has any serious foreign policy goals, but so what if they did? Thats realpolitik for yer -every country is fundamnetaly out for themselves. Strategically, it would be a disastor for the US or UK - or for anyone else...

Chappy, it doesn't matter what paper brings this story to light. It just shouldnt be happening in the first place. They are not exactly framing the squad or lying are they? The assaulters have done the deed and should be punished to the full extent. kicking in the b******s? headbutting with a helme...

Our problem is not necessary theres. Same with cocoa in Bolivia. I reckon we should allow dealers to buy the opium and then take care of the dealers after the money has changed hands, give the opium back to the farmers and let them sell it again. and then repeat. Like Jimmy Bond in The Living Daylig...

Its not that fanatical as you may think - its quite a modern nation. Agreed, it may be held back by relgious clerics, but there are traditional advocates in all countries. Plus Iran is not completely removed from international society as some politicians may want you to believe. It has strong ties w...
