Just an update I went to the insight course at the start of this month and my PB's are now:

1.5m - 8:39
57 press ups
83 sit ups
13 heaves

So now got a letter saying that I should come for an interveiw in 3 weeks does this mean that my medical forms have been cleared? they have taken nearly 2 months!

I watched it and thought it was a sneaky bit of work! and I personnaly thought they would search you going into catterick, then they wouldnt have people like this entering training and wasting the Armys time! since december I have been weight training now im really just focusing on cardio work as I want to have a sub 9 min time by the time I go for my ADSC. Im also trying to keep up my weight training but doing more reps for endurance rather than strengh. when are you looking to join?

I hope they dont mess about with my medical i've heard alot of reports of them not being to reliable. At the moment I can do 60 press ups 70 sit ups and 12 pullups and a 1.5m in 9:19 :roll: the press ups and sit ups are in 2 mins. What can you do for your 1.5m and press ups?

Im also going for PARA'S and am waiting on my medical form to be done, the surgery im at are taking ages! Update!!

Ok I just thought I would give you an update of how my trainings going since I opened this thread my PB's are now: 1.5 mile - 9:19 3 mile - 19.24 press ups (2 mins) - 61 So after just a month of training ive knocked 30 seconds off my 1.5m and can now do another 16 press ups so realistically im hopin...

Sounds spot on to me mate, I mean you could get in with those scores providing your runnings up to speed and if youve got another year you should be well ahead of the bare minimum.
