For a first post its a pretty stupid question. Would a whole unit return because a man dies? No. Chances are people that have been in that situation arent going to want to answer your question. There was an interesting arcticle in the guardian on sunday which you might want to read instead. It was w...

There's a few challenges everyone could try for.

There's one called Rising Sun which I believe is a 50 mile on bike, climb Helvelyn and then canoe across the lake.

Also there's the Tough Guy challenge at the end of Jan and in July.

Usually from a Troop of 60 around 5-20 originals pass out and then and some back troopers on as well. One troop when I was down there was known as cotton wool troop and 30 originals passed out.

Dave,

I have only just arrived back at the forums as well.

Seems we are in the same situation.I left training at week 22 last year. I am at uni now and considering going to Sandhurst. Civi life just doesnt compare to the forces life style.

Best of Luck

Theres a lad in my troop who passed POC but failed AIB. He came in to Rt without doing prmc again but had to do recruit test and pjft because you dont do them for the officer application.

They just go over anything that might have popped up in your medical or your records like an injury you might have had and see if thats ok. You then get blood taken and have any injections you havent had yet and you also go to the dentist.
