How far down the chart do you have to be able to read roughly?

i have mate i just wanted a definate awnser off somebody wheather or not your eyesight is varied for trades or if its just one set requirement that all recruits must meet

HELP NEEDED

Basically im considering joining the RAF REG or as a PTI.

My question is, is the eyesight standards different for different branches in the RAF?

Say if i fail my eyesight for raf reg would i be able to try for pti?

Out of interest on the chart whats the minimum you have to be able to read with both eyes? Is it secound biggest line?

its a nightmare i just want it out the way. I havent even handed in an application form yet so should i do that, then say im worried about my eyes can i have a optician form? Sounds stupid i know but i havent got a clue how to go about it becuase my mate whose in 2Para had his eyes tested only on hi...

Just woundering what the process is of joining up for the paras, a mate of mine is interested in joining up but hasnt got a clue what to do. Obviously im attempting the marines so i cant shed any light on the subject too him. He wants to know what comes after the application and so on in order. Also...
