Kept at it . . .

It is with some trepidation that I write this post, having not been on the forum for some time. I used the forum a lot gearing up for recruit training back in 2004/2005 before I suffered injury and subsequently discharge after a getting a very short way into training. It took 18 months to get myself...

Knee injury - told it wasn't good. Turns out there is nothing actually all wrong with my knee and the pain is linked to bad posture and resulting muscle shape. Ive been in physio for 3 weeks and the difference is amazing. It'll be a little while before I'm running again but they think I will make a ...

It does get easier mate but do yourself a favour and see the best physio your money can stretch to. Keep focused but keep your head out the clouds. Be pragmatic about it all, you may or may not go back in but by keeping the desire you have a fighting chance. Explore all your options. I was advised t...

Sneaky - PM sent Ruggee - Ian mate I'm good, tree surgery all you were hoping for? Still waiting on my invite across!!!! ...

Hello chaps I haven't looked on the forum for a while and I'm afraid to say it's true - NFA Med. I have to admit I'm a proud man and it's been hard to take, I am feeling ashamed and I know perhaps i shouldn't. Part of it is that I never really had a fair crack at the whip so I don't know whether I'd...

Preparation is the key. In training (well hunter) and I have a partner and bills. Not least the new car we bought last week. I have uni debts, rent, ccs, council tax - you name it i'm paying for it. It's possible but you need to be open and frank about it with your partner otherwise as with most mat...

I think that you should at least give it your best shot because life is too short for regrets. Collage is never a bad option and so getting yourself some qualifications puts you in a position to choose what you want to do. The difference here is that you will push harder for something you really wan...
