Ask Stinky... his back from ITC at the moment I beleive ;) I think that there aren't really expecting STRICT guidelines. When I had my TA Recruit selection weekend for the Royal Anglians they just wanted to see that you had worked towards your fitness, and made an effort. If you are showing them you...

Thanks artist. I don't think I would consider the RAF Regt over the infantry to be honest. Mainly because as much as I think the prospect of holding airfields and attacking them sounds amazing, I doubt there will be much call for this type of attack as none of our enemies at the moment have air capa...

Re: The Role of The Regiment
Also, where they stand in the "leauge of forces" I.e. You have, SAS/SBS - Then Para's & Marines then the infantry. Where do the RAF Regt. come in? I don't think there is a league of forces. :o Every branch has it's own job to do, hence why they are all slightly different. Don't chose ...

The Role of The Regiment
Hey lads. Just wondering what the role of the regiment is? Specifically the role of the Parachute section (not sure what it’s called). I understand they are heavily involved with ground protection of air assets. To me that seems a little... errm... boring?. Now I am a wee bit of an adrenalin junky, ...

This sounds slightly familiar but I could be wrong..... If you have applied to join the TA then there is no point thinking about the Marines. If you are in the TA Anglians then is there a way of progessing into the 1st Anglians or are they both TA? If you are thinking of the Paras, why not j...

E Coy - 3rd Royal Anglian
Hey people. Just to introduce myself, I live in the south-east of England and am in my second year of a-levels. Last week, I passed my medical and interview for E Coy, 3rd Royal Anglian. I have my recruit selection weekend in Janurary. It is my goal to become a troop commander in an infantry unit. I...
