My dad was in the TA throughout all of my childhood, so I didn't see him that much. The stuff he's told me and my brother about it is quite amazing, as you get paid the same as a reg, but don't have to fully commit to the forces. The only bad point really is that if you do as much time as possible, ...

I say YES. Old treaties should be re-examined, and sorted out. The amount of people that find their way into this country to simple sap off our money is ridiculous. The least we could do for these hard working, loyal, and truly honourable soldiers is to offer them citizenship. It should be their rig...

Actually, it's my username from another site for a mil-sim, so yes - it stands for Colonel. I've got another one that's Lt_Parsons, but that's because I couldn't be bothered to use the same screename  So I'm not really a Colonel, nor could I ever hope to be a Colonel, other than in my head

I honestly can't be bothered with football. It's just gotten ridiculous - they can afford to pay a guy a couple of million £s to kick a ball for 90mins every so often, but they can't afford a bullet proof vest for guys and gals risking their lives every day in the flippin desert :x :x I mean, what h...

I think the problem lays with the concept of extremism. In the past decade, extremists have become the cause of a lot of terrorism, and that's one reason people don't want to be patriotic. The other problem is that more people want to have a unified Europe, and don't believe in the British history. ...
