MOD Letter

Did anyone else receive one of these today saying all their details had been lost?

Apparently up to 600,000 people who have expressed interest in the RAF, Navy or RM have been affected by it. Interesting to see if I'm not the only one. Pat on the back Des!!!

Cheers

Mate, I was gash at press ups, still am! Could do about 10 when I started. Just bang them out whenever you can and give it your all every time. There's no magic formula or substitution for hard work. Just keep practicsing.

Listening to mp3 players, frequently, clubbing/standing near loud music, ear infections etc. I was guilty of all 3 he told me to lay off. I did, got some cotton buds some ear cleaning thing I think its ca...

There's no correct brand to buy IMO. Be it Saucony, Nb, Asics whatever else it's the type of the trainer that is 10x more important. I ran in a neutral running shoes without knowing I was a fairly heavy pronator thus causing ITB in my knee. Get a pair that suits your running style, body posture not ...

You'll be hanging out after your first holding troop session no matter how fit you are mate. I'd say if you can run 3 miles in 23 minutes and manage 30+ press ups, 50+ sit ups, 3+ pull ups you wont stick out so badly.

Take more than one shirt as well. You'll be in and out of your suit all the time it can easily get a bit mucky. Like shrek said its good to keep a high standard of appearance, pretty hot in some of the lecture rooms too.

Not so sure after tonight's fight tbh. Looked shaky in the 6th, after his knockdown did well to stay up although I think a better fighter would have finished him off. Like the commentator said take away his speed and decent footwork he's just your average fighter. His style is to just go out and att...

Concentrate on making the distance with your runs even if it means you are not making the grade with regards to time. Once you've nailed the distance not only will it give you confidence, but you should find you can do it quicker each time as long as you continue to push yourself.
