Great, I just sent mine off two weeks ago and i might have to look forward to beuracratic messes. Some people get through the system quicker than others, it seems. I would have got through it much quicker had my doctors not fannied about for weeks with my medical records. My AFCO have been good. As...

Last time I got into this debate was with dootybooty on another thread. He said something like, I might change my mind when I've served for a few years and I see what an influence they are on our forces. And my views might change one day, I try to keep an open mind. But I don't want to explain my re...

Does deep freeze have the same effects as adding ice to the injury? I've never tried the stuff.

Tab, when I said "you left me to do it for you" I was referring to when he said he didn't want to get into a political debate. He had earlier said something about the monarchy and someone had a go at him. So I argued his point a bit. Read the earlier posts and you'll see what I mean. No I'...

The army don't do 8 weeks then get full pay. Phase 1 is 12 weeks, followed by trade training, which is usually another 12 weeks. So in total it's around 24 weeks. And once RM's finish training, as Sticky said, get paid more than a regular Army Infantryman anyway. It's not that bad a deal, really.

I'm volunteering to do the AACC after training and you lot are making me feel like I'd better avoid it for fear of swallowing my false teeth.. I'm not an expert but I think i...
