Re: 3 questions

I've been looking at irons, there are some right good ones on the market. My question is, are you allowed this type http://www.tp-hausgeraete.de/kleingeraete/images/artikel/f2_1_51371.jpg Or is that just taking the p*ss? Dont take an iron like that, it is ridiculous. A £20 model from tesco wi...

Sadly missed

My training troop (935), did the drill display for the annual RMA congregation at CTCRM on Sept 8th, it was nice to get eyes on such a hoofing boss as JJ Moore. My kings squad pass out was a week later, I still cant believe he died the day after my KSPO. I joined Lima Coy at 42 so was fortunate to b...

Just got back from my second 5 miler. I knocked 2 mins off the time. I now do it in 58mins where earlier this week I managed it in an hour!!!! Yeah, as you say, you still have plenty of work to do, you will need to get the 5 miler down to 40 mins really then carry on working from there. As long as ...

Keep it simple

Hey mate, if you want a simple PRMC training program that works then follow this http://www.mfat.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14441 . I dont mean to sound negative but I really wouldnt waste your time focusing on Gym workouts/plans and all that stuff, that wont make you pass PRMC or recruit training...

Re: I don't know how to put this

even when I am running I would happily stop after a mile. At the moment my life is at a stand still and I have been the lazyist sod I know, I haven't had a job in about 5 months now and since my last PRMC my fitness has gone down the drain. Stinks, you have summed yourself up there, that is the quo...

Re: girlfriends while joining the corps

During my PRMC I missed my girlfriend a lot more than I thought I would. It's made me re-think if it's really what I want to do. We are very close and hope to get married and all the rest one day. If you miss your girlfriend after 3 days on PRMC then you would struggle to get through training and g...

End of week 21 Hello...and a war cry...and other stuff

Hello all, I am tired so excuse me I have not posted on here properly for a few months so I thought I would raise my head and say hello as well as big up mfat.co.uk and the Royal Marines. As the subject says, I am about to start my 22nd week of training at CTCRM. I am still with my original troop, 9...

Hankins, were you ever in K block? I am floor 2 of K block and saw Hankins on the ground floor door during the early weeks of phase 1 training. Just wondered.

Re: Age

Hi, anyone experienced any problems joining near the upper age limit? I'm 28, already fit and strong but working hard in preparation. Hi mate, I am 28 and half way through recruit training, age is not a problem at all. The hardest part is putting up with immature kids who think the Marines is the c...

Re: Long time, no see

You are not the troop that is not allowed to wear berets I take it. I will be doing a post soon, I am in week 15 after leave a...
