Next time you go training tell Peter and Buzz i said hi. I dont know them mate - seen them train though and on a few cards. Rob is a beast, I wouldnt even dare look at him. Seen some old 50-odd year old bloke take him a few weeks back though. edit: http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp...

Very untrue There is no dedicated MMA in the North East, or at least last time I checked. I`m with Sunderland Ju Jitsu Club of old Ian Freeman fame, lots of MMA here but not totally dedicated to it. Maybe the exception is actually Freeman's Total Martial Arts Academy in Durham. But up here its supe...

I know of hardly any MMA gyms. You simply attend seperate dedicated dojos or gyms, then applying the martial arts together makes you an MMA.

I would believe the Military would use a combination of the Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido maybe Systema and Krav Maga fighting systems on a very basic level.

Sit back mate. You have two years and your at uni. Theres better things to be doing than training for the Marines. If I was you I would maybe train with just boxing, that will give you CV and some lean muscle mass. Huge muscle mass will be a bad idea in the end, try lumping it around with a bergen f...

I done the pitch sprints - I`d either do:- 9 x Sprint long - jog short or 7 x Sprint full pitch then jog slowly a full pitch Just start off and do as many as you can, then try and add one every week or two. And I wouldnt recommend just doing the pitch sprints then going home, do 45min circuit traini...

I wasn't meaning to offend anyone, but I feel most parents in the world do not bring their children up properly. If a child is brought up correctly, shown manners, politleness, respect, how to be articulate, given freedom of expression - in music - art or whatever, stimulated with learning of philos...

Fair play mate - a very worthwhile degree if you ask me. I could imagine it being heartbreaking at times in the job though.
